Last week, the world witnessed the dramatic fall out between Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian -- one social media post and video at a time. The former couple aired their dirty laundry in a series of Instagram and Twitter posts, and it was very disappointing to watch. On the surface, it seemed like the usual spat between celebs that often goes viral. However, it turns out that this situation is very different from others that we've seen from celebs.
In the state of California, where Blac Chyna and Kardashian reside, it is against the law to share an adult photo (containing nudity) or video of someone without his or her consent.
Revenge pornography, or revenge porn, is the sexually explicit portrayal of one or more people that is distributed without their consent via any medium. The sexually explicit images or video may be made by a partner of an intimate relationship with the knowledge and consent of the subject, or it may be made without his or her knowledge.

So, what can we learn from this?
Always be cautious of the type of content that you are posting on social media and never post adult content that may have been shared with you without that person's consent. You could face legal action.
