Social Media Assistant Account Executive 

Job Description:

Here's your chance to be a part of a small, yet effective award-winning digital marketing agency headquartered in Laurel, Maryland. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with clients in the Food & Beverage Industry.

Our boutique agency supports politicians, restaurants, radio personalities, personal chefs, authors and other entrepreneurs with multi-faceted, strategic communications, both external and internal. This includes online communications, public relations, web design, social media marketing, and graphic design services. The Social Media Assistant Account Executive reports directly to the CEO. Position Information:

  • Part-time (10 hours/week)

  • Compensation: Commensurate with experience

  • Desired Start date: February 3, 2020

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Work 10 hours a week in the Laurel office

  • Attend restaurant events on a weekly basis

  • Participate in weekly check-in meetings to shape digital marketing strategy

  • Design content for client's social media channels, including Facebook and Instagram

  • Develop social media editorial calendars

  • Manage live social media marketing onsite during events

  • Design and distribute e-blast messages to client's listserve

  • Design printed marketing materials

  • Manage interns

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong work ethic

  • Proven leader with strong communication and writing skills.

  • Social media savvy. Must have an intimate knowledge of Facebook and Instagram.

  • Detail-oriented and well-organized work style.

  • Creativity, resourcefulness, and strong problem-solving skills.

 

Required:

  • Applicant must be AT LEAST a college junior or senior or pursuing an undergraduate degree in journalism, English, communications, marketing, public relations, digital marketing, political science or a related area. Social Media Marketing Internship - Spring 

Job Description:

Our boutique agency supports politicians, real estate agents, radio personalities, personal chefs, authors and other entrepreneurs with multi-faceted, strategic communications, both external and internal. This includes online communications, public relations, web design, social media marketing, and graphic design services. The digital marketing intern reports directly to the CEO. NO CALLS PLEASE.

Position Information:

  • Part-time (10 hours/week) internship

  • Unpaid (Course Credit)

  • Duration: Up to 4 weeks beginning immediately (start date and end date is negotiable)
